How I can help you.

Unprocessed experiences are stored in your body and will cause us to unconsciously keep reliving the unpleasant situation.

Whether it relates to the early, unconscious years of infancy and childhood or to trauma experienced later in life, these experiences can lead to low self-esteem, difficulty relaxing, trouble controlling emotions, or mood swings.

Horse-assisted coaching

Discover the power of equine-assisted coaching. Horses reflect your behaviour and emotions in a natural and honest way, giving you greater insight into yourself and your patterns.

Their direct, non-verbal feedback helps you to experience a sense of calm, trust and connection. A unique and powerful form of coaching that contributes to personal growth and self-awareness.

Emotional Wellbeing Blog

Your emotional health affects virtually every aspect of your life, from how you cope with stress to the way you form relationships. When you are emotionally healthy, you can make better choices, you are more effective at work, and you have more energy for the people you love.

In addition, emotional health also affects your physical wellbeing. Chronic stress and unresolved emotions can lead to physical symptoms such as headaches, sleep disorders and even heart problems.

Choose The Best for you
Choose to Be You!

Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) focuses on reducing emotional stress and trauma through eye movements and targeted attention to memories, which can help to reduce the emotional impact of negative experiences. When combined with equine-assisted coaching, this is complemented by interaction with horses, which, through their sensitive and immediate responses, mirror emotions and help clients to better regulate and process them during the therapeutic process.

Expert by experience in narcissism

Narcissistic abuse is a silent killer, and victims often experience feelings of confusion, low self-esteem and anxiety. Support and an understanding of the dynamics of narcissistic abuse are key to breaking free and recovering.

Childhood trauma

Childhood trauma refers to traumatic experiences that children go through and which can affect their development and well-being.

They manifest themselves through anxiety, depression, behavioural problems and difficulties in social relationships.

Trauma counselling / PTSD

The process through which a person learns to cope with trauma and integrate it into their life.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing a traumatic event, which often triggers feelings of intense fear or helplessness.

Personal growth and strength

Personal strength and growth are key concepts in an individual’s development. They refer to the ability to learn, grow and rise to challenges, often in response to life experiences, including difficult times such as trauma or stress.

Depression

Depression has a major impact on a person’s mood, thoughts and behaviour, and can lead to significant emotional and physical problems. Past experiences affect how a person functions in the present and how they view the future.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural emotion that arises in response to a perceived threat or danger. However, when anxiety becomes overwhelming or persistent, it can lead to unhealthy and irrational fears, and even to an anxiety disorder.

Unprocessed emotions and
distressing memorie

The understanding that unprocessed trauma can be stored in the body is a key concept in various therapeutic and psychological approaches.

Unresolved trauma can have various effects on both a mental and physical level. These include anxiety, chronic pain or fatigue, as well as difficulties with forming connections or regulating emotions

Body-oriented
approach

Body-oriented therapies, such as Integrative Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and Goodfield therapy, are both approaches that focus on processing trauma and improving emotional wellbeing.

Recognising the connection between the body and the brain, and how this affects overall health, lies at the heart of both approaches, which is why they complement each other so perfectly.

Testimonials

“Danielle has treated me on a number of occasions, and each time I’ve gained clear insights that have enabled me to put them into practice.”

“I had a really lovely session with Danielle at her practice. She helps you where needed in a friendly, open and approachable way. She’s not afraid to crack a joke now and then, which makes the experience enjoyable and pleasant. Danielle is brilliant!”

“If you’re genuinely willing to take a look at yourself and your own life strategies, go and see Danielle. She can be challenging, but that’s what it takes to change and grow towards greater balance, more enjoyment and less stress.”

“Ms De Jong is not only a delightful person, but also a passionate professional!”

“My first meeting with Danielle was pleasant right from the start. Danielle exudes calm and has a lovely energy that makes you feel at ease straight away. Initially, the focus was on grief counselling, but along the way there’s room to address whatever is going on at the time and whatever needs attention. No gimmicks for dealing with your problems. But the sessions can lead you to the root of the problem. She has a range of methods at her disposal which she tailors to your needs. Her guidance is skilful, honest and intuitive. And she does all this with a good sense of humour. The lovely conversations and coaching are giving me ever greater insight into my own behaviour. I’ve grown stronger and am increasingly standing up for what matters to me. A freer life! Danielle, thank you!”
